My name is Jennie, but often you will see my nickname augustmoon849 tag along in various places. Mostly because I can’t figure out how to get rid of it yet! I am a photographer, maker of books, collector of all things blue, summer resident on the coast of Maine and lover of lists! I also dabble in printmaking, collage, paper making, carving rubber stamps, making precious metal clay jewlery, knitting and creating altered books. I am currently taking a fun art class called Contemporary Practice. You never know what the assignment will be. Some of the things we’ve done this fall: make a paper doll of ourselves, photograph an example of “occidental ambiguity” and transform a roll of making tape into something else. Very entertaining and quite a learning experience!
I will become a grandmother in March. We just found out that it is a boy and are thrilled for ourselves and our kids.
